Properts was established in 1996 by Piers Propert, who decided that driving to his practice in Birmingham from South Wales everyday was not a good lifestyle choice. He was joined by Jane Propert in 1999.
Properts’ clients have followed Piers and his partners throughout these changes, with many client’s grandchildren now becoming clients of the firm. The decision to open our own estate agency was taken in November of 2008 with our first office in Magor opening in September 2009, followed closely by our office in Chepstow in May 2010. We decided we wanted to provide a unique service direct to our clients, both new and old, who wish to sell or purchase a property ~ by combining our legal and property expertise alongside our team of experienced agents. We feel we have now achieved this with the help of our agency team, in particular Kerrie Edwards and Debra Powell, who have over 23 years of agency experience to combine with our 50 years of legal experience.
Today Properts offer to their clients a full range of estate agency services, including house selling and buying, house letting, commercial letting and management of property. Legal services of Wills, Probate, lasting powers of attorney, matrimonial matters- including divorce and financial affairs, and notarial services for those transacting with foreign jurisdictions. In addition our conveyancing team is able to offer its services across much of the UK.
