Piers Propert - Partner Solicitor & Notary Public
Piers Propert is the Senior Partner, solicitor, commissioner for oaths and notary public. He studied at Oxford University before becoming a Lieutenant in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment of the British Army. He was due to join the Overseas Civil Service in Tanganyika but sadly it was given its independence so Piers decided to study to become a solicitor.
Piers has over 40 years qualified experience which included work undertaken in the establishment of Gwent Europark located near Magor and Celtic Springs near Newport. This success as a solicitor resulted him being listed in the Legal 500 for his Commercial Property work, albeit some years ago!
Piers as a Notary Public offers private and corporate clients a full Notary Public service including apostille, notarisation of documents, Powers of Attorney, Affidavits, Oaths, Declarations, Legalisation, and Certification of signatures.
As an aspiring senior golfer Piers believes he is the new Darren Clarke but without the talent!

Jane Propert - Partner Solicitor & Notary Public
Jane Propert is a solicitor, Notary Public and Managing Partner of Properts, having joined the practice in 1999.
Jane was determined to become a lawyer once she had a taste of the legal world. She studied part time while bringing up her children and working to complete her law degree and Legal Practice Course at Bristol. Her determination and people skills have enabled Jane to build the practice and good working relationships with her clients. Her inspiration guides people and assists them in making decisions at often difficult times in their lives.
Jane specialises in estate planning, wills, matters following death, inheritance tax issues, mental capacity issues, lasting powers of attorney, conveyancing, breakdown of relationships and divorce and financial issues on separation/divorce. In all these areas Jane provides a well-balanced viewpoint to achieve a fair outcome.
An authentic people person, Jane is positive with a quirky sense of humour. In her leisure time Jane is kept busy with her golf, gardening and caring for her family and two lovely dogs.

Rhys Evans - Solicitor
Rhys joined Properts in 2013 as a qualified highly motivated, hardworking solicitor. Rhys has experience in property, matrimonial, litigation and family matters.
Rhys is a welsh speaker who is able to work bilingually following his training in a firm in North Wales. He enjoys the law and is keen to ensure he is the solicitor of choice in south Wales. He has proven himself not only as a solicitor but also his use of diplomatic skills as he was worked on a project with the British Council with build bridges. In his spare time Rhys enjoys sailing and cycling, he will be cycling from north Wales to south Wales for charity in 2013.
Lucy Mason - Solicitor
Lucy joined Properts back in May 2009 whilst studying the Legal Practice Course at Glamorgan University, she trained with Properts and qualified as a Solicitor on 15 May 2013.
Lucy has developed her legal knowledge and has built up a number of strong relationships with her clients during her time with Properts. Lucy enjoys the legal process while overcoming any obstacles or problems.
Lucy currently works on conveyancing matters and understands that it can be a very stressful time for clients and uses her skills and understanding to ensure clients expectations are delivered.
Lucy sees herself as a person who cares a lot about doing a job well and to the best of her ability and the feedback from our clients proves this.

Claire Jones - Legal Secretary
Claire is an experienced legal secretary who is the first point of contact for our clients. She uses her knowledge to help steer clients in the right direction and provide first class support to the legal team.
Claire enjoys family life and supports her daughter's growing equestrian achievements in her spare time.
Aimee Kelly - Legal Secretary and trainee paralegal
Aimee is a hardworking and determined employee. She joined Properts after attaining a 2:1 in her English and Classics degree and she now hopes to convert her degree to law and then eventually train to become a solicitor. Aimee currently assists the solicitors in their day to day work and particularly enjoys helping out on family law matters.
